Playing time [29:51]
This film documents the brief existence of a painting and sound installation, made and assembled specifically for a newly renovated railway arch in east London. It contains a mixture of still photographs, live film and original sound recordings that is supplemented at the end of the film by photographs from the planning and preparation of the piece. The work was never shown in public and apart from the memories it may have given a few friends, colleagues and the projects host, the Arts charity [SPACE] this film is all that remains. With the help from the two written introductions, which are printed inside the cardboard cover this DVD aims to provide a comprehensive experience of the work. It is foremost a piece of documentation, but hopefully one that can provide a sufficient visual and sonic experience that can give justice to the nature of this piece.
